Equal parts biologist, technophile and storyteller, I have been a science writer and editor for more than 10 years. Having worked in print and online journalism and for a number of government and non-profit organizations, I spend equal time thinking about my employer's goals and my audience's interests. I work in service of the intersection of those two things. I grew up in the Ozark hills of northwest Arkansas, but I now live in Annapolis, MD, with my husband and two dogs.
